About Struxt3D
Structural analysis and design should be quick to start, easy to read and honest about what it calculates.
Most structural software asks you to learn an interface before you can learn anything about your structure. Struxt3D turns that around: you pick the kind of structure, answer a few questions about its size, materials and loads, and see it analysed and designed in 3D within minutes.
What we believe
- Start from the structure. Templates build complete, connected models, so the first analysis is a good one.
- Show the working. Every check can be traced to its formula, its clause and the combination that governs, in a calculation report you can hand to a checker.
- Teach while you design. The tutorials explain why each check exists, not only which button to press.
- Be clear about limits. Struxt3D gives sound first answers. It does not replace an engineer's judgement or a full code check. See Accuracy and limitations.
How it is built
The solver is a finite element program with beam, truss, cable and shell elements, compiled to WebAssembly so it runs at near-native speed inside your browser. The design checks reuse the same engineering libraries as our desktop analysis and design applications, for steel, concrete, timber, foundations, composite beams and connections. Nothing is sent to a server: the model, the analysis and the results stay on your device.
